Students receive grades with an emphasis on the process and effort.
Objectives: Students included what they needed to in the assignment. This correlates to discussions, teacher modeling, and practice we engage in in the classroom.
Effort/Quality: The work clearly shows effort on the student's part, utilizing teacher feedback during the process. The work is completed to the best of the child's abilities.
Skill Development: The work shows evidence that the student worked to practice, understand, and use the concepts focused on in class.
Habits of Mind: Students consistently follow the 4 Golden Rules of the Art Room, as well as work through the 8 Habits of Mind.
